Presidents Message

Welcome to the web site of the Manchester Section of the Green Mountain Club Our section maintains the long Trail from Rt 11/30 north to Griffith Lake. This is a lovely section with a lot of variety in forest and which includes Bromley Shelter, Bromley summit with it’s four state view, and Styles and Peru peaks in the Peru Peak Wilderness area.

The primary focus of our section in the spring, summer and fall is on trail and shelter maintenance and projects. In the winter we try to do at least 5 or 6 snowshoe hikes. We meet for a spring and a fall potluck supper meeting to plan for the next season

We welcome both GMC members, Manchester section and members at large and members of other sections, and non GMC members on all our work hikes and snowshoes and to our pot luck suppers. For more information check out our activities page and our contact the Manchester section page.
